Stokes Ceramics is a  ceramic studio based in London founded by Samuel Stokes, a ceramic designer who was

born and raised in Cornwall and now lives and works in London. After studying Painting from Camberwell

College of the Arts, he now works exclusively on the wheel creating functional ceramics which express the ideals of simple living and uncomplicated design. Samuel takes his inspiration from the arts heritage of his native West

Cornwall, designing individual hand thrown  pieces, lightly glazed to enhance their minimalist aspect. His designs balance modesty with sophistication, creating deceptively simple yet beautifully stylish pieces.
